The Workplace English for Esthetics Professionals program at Cosmopolitan Makeup Artistry College is designed to help non-native English speakers build the language skills and confidence needed to thrive in professional esthetics and spa environments across Canada.

This practical, career-focused program teaches Canadian English conversation, reading and writing skills using real-life scenarios and industry-specific language relevant to esthetics and wellness. Whether you're welcoming clients, explaining treatments, or recommending products, you'll gain the tools to communicate clearly, professionally, and with confidence.

Through role-play, guided dialogues, vocabulary-building exercises, and interactive activities, students will improve both their spoken and written English while gaining confidence in client-facing scenarios common in salons, spas, and wellness centers.

This course is ideal for international students here or abroad, newcomers to Canada, or anyone in the esthetics field looking to improve their English skills in a supportive, beauty-industry-focused setting.

What You’ll Learn:

General Workplace Communication Skills:

Greetings and professional introductions
Handling customer inquiries and providing assistance
Recommending products and services
Processing payments and transactions
Polite leave-taking and follow-up conversations
Promoting long-term customer relationships through effective communication

Esthetics Industry-Specific Language:

Terminology related to skin care, hair care, and massage
Vocabulary around facials, body treatments, and spa technologies
Discussions on nutrition, weight management, and meal planning
Understanding and explaining hair & skin types and conditions
Conversational English for human anatomy and wellness consultation
Language for topics related to men’s and women’s health

There are 4 course levels from Elementary to Advanced.

Each course level is 100 hours over five weeks.

Classes are 20 hours per week.

Lessons are online.

Upon successful completion of any 1 level students will receive an official CMAC College Certificate and Transcript.

Students can obtain an official CMAC College Diploma for completing 2 or more levels of the Workplace English for Esthetics Professionals program.
